ChargePay Staff Access Setup
Shopify allows store owners to assign custom permissions to staff members so they can manage store operations, access apps, and view relevant data. To ensure your team can access and use ChargePay effectively, it’s important that they are granted the proper permissions.
Required Permissions
To enable full functionality and visibility within the ChargePay app, each staff member should have access to the following:
- Orders
- Customers
- Apps and Channel Permissions
- Specific apps and sales channels > ChargePay
These permissions allow staff to:
- Review and manage disputes via ChargePay
- Monitor customer-related fraud patterns
- Submit or assist with evidence, when needed
Important: Each staff member must have these permissions set on their own individual Shopify account. Shared credentials or insufficient access may violate Shopify’s privacy policies and could interfere with ChargePay’s functionality.
Proper access setup ensures that your team can work smoothly within ChargePay and helps you get the most out of the platform.
If you need assistance configuring permissions, contact our support team or follow Shopify’s guide to managing staff permissions.
